Visions of Steel
“Visions of Steel” is a series of contemporary fine art photographs centered on the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, one of the most recognizable works of contemporary architecture.
Each image explores the coexistence of reflections and matter, movement and stillness, structure and perception. Metallic tones—steel, silver, and cool blues—blend with flashes of light that curve across the building’s surface.
Frank Gehry's architecture ceases to be a recognizable object and becomes a visual language. Forms are fragmented, repeated, and transformed into abstract compositions where the solid appears unstable and the architectural approaches the organic.
Each work offers a different perspective on the Guggenheim Bilbao: both recognizable and unrecognizable at the same time.
